A doctor has been booked for violating Covid-19 protocol in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar.

The doctor, who was running a nursing home, was booked after seven people, including six staff members, tested positive for coronavirus.

A case was registered against the nursing home owner, Dr Devendra Kumar, for not informing the authorities about the patients, Chief Medical Officer Praveen Chopra was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

He said six of his staff members tested positive for the infection while they were taking care of other patients despite contracting coronavirus.
